These terms are an agreement between you and INYO SYSTEMS LLC ("we") for your use of Extrastep.
The service
Extrastep is a CAD agent. You describe changes in chat, reference geometry, and attach STEP files; an AI model edits your design's source code, which Extrastep builds, checks and shows you. We may change or improve the service over time.
Your account
You need an account and a working email address to use Extrastep. Keep access to your email secure: anyone who can read it can sign in. You're responsible for what happens in your account.
Credits and plans
- Turns use credits. One credit is one US dollar of AI model usage at the rates on our pricing page.
- A turn is charged for the model requests it made when it ends, whether it finishes, fails or is stopped.
- A turn can start only while your balance is above zero. A turn that runs past zero finishes, and your balance can become negative.
- Credits have no cash value and can't be transferred. [Terms for purchases, renewals and expiry.]
Refunds
Purchases are final. We refund a charge made in error if you email support@extrastep.ai within 14 days of the charge. Email us before disputing a charge with your bank.
Your content
You keep all rights to what you upload and create: your STEP files, messages and designs. You give us the permission we need to host, process and display it, and to send it to our providers, only to run the service for you.
Only upload files you have the right to use. Some manufacturer models come with their own license terms.
Your responsibility for what you build
Extrastep checks that its results match what you asked for: dimensions, positions, clearances and interference. Those checks don't establish strength, thread engagement, assembly paths, manufacturability, safety or compliance with any standard. Review every design, and test it where it matters, before you manufacture or rely on it.
Acceptable use
Don't use Extrastep to break the law or infringe anyone's rights. Don't try to reach other accounts' data, get around the build sandbox, overload the service, or resell it without our agreement. [Further restrictions.]
Ending your use
You can stop using Extrastep at any time and delete your projects. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, and we'll tell you why unless the law or security prevents it.
